General Guidelines

Abstracts must be written in English, using the template provided below. The maximum total length of 1 A4 page must be respected. Abstracts should be uploaded in .doc or equivalent format.

Abstracts must be submitted exclusively via the on-line system of the Congress web page (Submit an abstract). Abstracts submitted via fax or any other means will not be accepted.

Please indicate your preference for an oral or poster presentation. The Scientific Committee of BPC 2018 will review the abstracts and decide whether an abstract will be accepted for an oral presentation or a poster, with consideration given to the author’s preference. Note that the possibility of a poster presentation in case of an oral rejection due to limited slots available will be provided. 

 Important Information

The deadline for abstracts' submission is January 23, 2018 - 8 am CET. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered. 

Presenting authors of abstracts must be registered participants at BPC 2018. Registration must be received no later than April 27th, 2018 (registration deadline) to ensure that your abstract is included in the conference program and scheduled for presentation. 

Authors will be notified by e-mail no later than March 16th, 2018 whether their abstract has been accepted or rejected, and, in case of acceptance about the form of presentation (oral or poster).

Final abstracts will appear in the abstract book.

Guidelines for presenters

Information on the time attributed to plenary, keynote, invited lectures, as well as to contributing oral presentations will be announced later.
